Aura Arctic Chalets is a private, owner-hosted retreat in Saariselkä, Finnish Lapland — two chalets with 7-metre panoramic living-room windows and 4-metre panoramic bedroom windows, set on a quiet fell plot, far from the crowds. It is not a hotel, not a resort, and not another glass igloo village. Riikka and Timo built and run the property themselves, with no reception desk, no shared spaces, and no other guests on site unless you invite them.

The chalets welcome families, friend groups, and couples seeking complete privacy and personal hosting in the Arctic wilderness. Riikka and Timo are multilingual hosts — fluent in Italian, French, and English. Every stay includes private airport transfers, a daily delicious breakfast served to your chalet, housekeeping, and a personal concierge to help arrange whatever you need — from northern lights activities to a quiet evening by the fire.
